You've seen this photo but you've never heard the story! Heart wrenching, painful, and truly epic! If you want to hear the heart and soul behind TacticalBassin, you've got to check this out!

Tim was as low as you could be. After more than a week in NICU with his youngest son struggling for life, Tim hit rock bottom. There was no where left to go but to the lake. He just wanted to clear his head... he had no idea he was about to begin the most epic week of fishing he'd ever experienced!
When have you ever heard someone say they were hooking 6-10 lbers on every cast? That's INSANE but it happened!

Here are all of the baits the fish were eating that week...

Wow. I'm glad your son is doing well and I feel your pain! I recently lost my wife a week ago on my birthday. I can't do anything including fishing. This video gives me hope that soon I'll be back on the water! Thank you for sharing this video!

Thanks for sharing. I know what you went through. I lost my daughter after 4 year stint with cancer. Glad you were able to recover your son and get back to life and enjoying fishing. Many people never recover and I agree with you you out doors is a great way to clear your head. But we never forget what we went through despite all there is in the outdoors, but it definitely truly helps. God has a way...

Glad your son is doing well. My wife works in the nicu here in Florida and loves seeing the babies growing up. She loves her job taking care of the babies. Nice video.

Great story Tim. Glad your boy is doing good. I was addicted to painkillers for 5 or 6 years. Which landed me single, broke, and in jail. Hunting and fishing is the only thing that helped me get and stay clean for almost 5 years!! Channels like yours are what it's all about. Can't thank you and Matt enough for what you do for us, even when you don't know your doing anything. You've helped me become a better fisherman for sure. And I've started teaching my stepsons the same things I've learned. Thanks fellas for all you do!

Thanks so much for sharing. I couldn’t agree more. In October if 2016 my daughter passed away from a seizure. It about did me in. She was 25. Long story short my son and I didn’t fish for 3 weeks and a buddy said you guys need to get out n fish. So we loaded up n he took us to a spot on the river he had told us about. It was raining a little n we got to our spot n started fishing. Wasn’t catching anything on a lipless n a mosquito bit my son retrieve. He smacked the mosquito n bam got crushed. We proceeded to have 2 hours of epic 3 pound smallmouth fishing ever. That day saved us and we are so thankful for fishing and Tactical Bassin.

Thanks so much Tim for getting through it and teaching something as simple as staying positive. This channel needs both of you guys and in my opinion this is the only fishing youtube channel that hasn’t fell victim to selling out and getting sponsors and junk. Literally the BEST fishing channel on youtube and all my fishing buddies agree! Stay strong and remember man! You got your family at home but you got your youtube family too! Tight lines Tim!!!🎣

Very happy to know your son's illness resulted in cure and your life has moved forward. As a cancer patient I can appreciate the tonic and escape that fishing provides and I use it every chance I get and am thankful I'm still able to participate in it. Thanks for all the advice and inspiration that you guys give.
