Global politics has never been about justice or peace. Its always been about the accumulation of power. Its likely the only reason we "as a country" were allowed to send arms to Ukraine. Sure individuals in our country are motivated by a sense of morality or justice but as a country, leaders make decisions based on power accumulation and distribution. All countries do it that way and always have.
