Purpose: To mobilise the upper thoracic by applying pressure through the rib angles with overhead movements.
Set up: Lying on your back with a peanut or massage ball at the costo-transverse joint between the spine and the scapular.
Action: Lift your hips up, breathe in. As you breathe in, raise your arms up above you. Hold and exhale as you bring the arms back down to your side
Focus: Keep your hips up to apply more pressure into the ball. Take big breaths in!.
