All these years later and there still hasn't been a game that gives the same level of satisfaction on interacting with the other characters.

Even James' "ha ha that's funny" as if he actually didn't know what to say to Tali's impersonation is a perfect replication of what might happen during a normal conversation like this between friends. No game since then, for me, has ever been able to make you immersed enough to do just that: just sit around and feel like you're shootin' the $h*t with a bunch of buddies.

If you leave recruiting Liara for last in ME1 she actually starts to think you're a hallucination because she's gone days without eating. A much more amusing encounter but then, if you're playing the game in the objectively correct way, you recruit her first.

We all know these assholes just made a dating simulator and then added all the reaper and shooting stuff after the fact. We know the real reason these games exist and why people play them.

People don't come back and replay Mass Effect 3 a hundred times to shoot husks. They come back to fall in love with Tali all over again.

I always wished that Liara and Tali had more dialogue and interaction with one another. They seem like they'd be good friends.

The Citadel DLC is one of the best franchise fan service releases I've ever seen.
It's a proper send off for a shit ton of great characters....I can't recall seeing it done better actually.
Say what you want about the ending (please don't) this was pretty good.
