Personally I prefer Henning Basse than Apollo. Of course I am used to Apollo's voice on the songs from his Albums and is surely 100 times better on these ones, but Henning could do all (new and old staff), but surely he is a bit off sometimes - Apollo was also off on many occasions.
Unfortunately the latest singer is by far not up to the Firewind level, and I am talking live.

Ήμουν εκεί ως φανατικός ακόλουθος των firewind από το 2007. Πολύ ποιότητα βγήκε από Gus και Κατσιόνη. Τα παιδιά ροκάρουν άγρια. Ο Jο πίσω στα τύμπανα είναι μηχανάκι και έχει τρελή ενέργεια που παρά το νεαρό της ηλικίας του είναι Killer. Ο Πέτρος ένας σταθερός μπασίστας με καλά γεμίσταμα κτλ κτλ. . . Από όλους του τραγουδιστές του πλανήτη, τον Henning βρήκατε να βάλετε; Θεωρώ πως με έναν καλύτερο τραγουδιστή αυτή την στιγμή οι Firewind θα έκαναν παπάδες. Δεν θα τολμήσω να κάνω καν σύγκριση με τον Apollo, απλά να πω το προφανές, πως δεν μπορεί να τα πει τα κομμάτια με τίποτα 100% και δεν τραβάει. Καλή χημεία μεταξύ τους αλλά αδικούνται από τα vocals. Albumara και αρκετά καλό set list.
To live είχε πάρα πολύ καλές μπάντες, με τους Mystic Prophesy να τα σπάνε, αρκετά γαμηστερούς τους NightRage και τους πολύ καλούς Rage - που κατά την ταπεινή μου γνώμη, κούρασαν. Καλή Χρονιά σε όλους \m/

I was there, great energy but very very bad sound.I dont know if the sound engineer was responsible or it was on purpose to cover the singer's weakness but it was bad.Rage before Firewind sound way better.

Unfortunately the singer cannot fill Apollo's shoes in my opinion... I understand why Apollo had to leave, but I think they could've chosen a more suitable singer and performer, even though Henning seems like a nice guy. Not to mention that we'll probably never see the beautiful kind of lyrics of the Allegiance - Few Against Many era again.
