What joy to hear Rioghnach Connolly on John Spillane's epic project - Fioruisce. Her voice makes me weep. She embodies the songs and Fioruisce is a rare and amazing gift to music and story.

Oh I AM immediately in adoration of Rioghnach !. I discovered her through listening to "The Breath" first record (here in the States). And I kept thinking to myself "There's a major Irish sound going on in here but where are they from?". Happy to say, I now know she's from Ulster, and MY GOD does she own that voice. Those old style vocals, that soul within the pain. The joy within the sorrow and the will to fight again.
