In this #devlog, I discuss how I launched 5 games at the same time. The most notable is the game Bridges & Docks, and the others are smaller games that have been ported to the Atari VCS and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Love this! I definitely agree that, spending 3 years+ on one game isn't always the best move, especially when starting out. Like others here, I'm also aiming to take the smaller games with faster turnaround approach. Best of luck with Bridges and Docks!

Congratulations! Bridges and Docks looks nice and cozy! I was also trying to just make a few small games, but my current project turned into a bigger open world platformer than I imagined, of course LOL! It's so hard to keep that scope small.

Congrats on the launches. I have the same game plan as you, make a bunch of smaller games within a smaller dev cycle. It makes the most sense to make money and try to become sustainable.

It's smart doing many small projects before you tackle anything too crazy. I get so nervous when I see someone tell me they've been working on a game for 5 years full time and haven't even crossed the 100 follower mark on steam Dx I fear the same for my first game having worked 3 years straight on it but I try to market as often as I have the time to
