I prefer to get on a bus than trudging exhaustedly or galloping in a hurry somewhere. -Especially- it is *especially* comfortable in rainy weather, but sometimes I need -lopping- *to lollop* down the -covered with puddles- *puddle covered* street to a bus stop. In winter I stride outside because of *the* freezing temperature. It is not comfortable *to scurry* on *the* first frosty days -to scurry- because of heavy boots, so I plod. They are balky compared to trainers but on the other hand, they warm my feet. If a pair of boots is new it usually gives me blisters so afterwards I -slightly- limp *slightly* during a couple of days.

+ waddle, titubate, trip, mince, stagger, stroll, etc. ... nice words but if someone risks to use the most part of them in an everyday life others might think that he's blown all his marbles.
