Lefties losing it: Transgender cyclist Veronica Ivy's 'serious cognitive dissonance'

Transgender cyclist Veronica Ivy’s remarks from an interview with comedian Trevor Noah are “serious cognitive dissonance,” according to Sky News host Caleb Bond.

This week, a year-old clip has been doing the rounds from an interview between the transgender cyclist and Mr Noah, who used to host The Daily Show on Comedy Central.

Veronica Ivy came out as transgender in 2012 around the age of 30, and in 2018 won the world 200-meter cycling sprint record for women in the 35-39 age range.

She won the UCI Masters World Track Cycling Championship in the Women's Sprint 35-44 age bracket the following day and broke the 34-39 200m record the following year.

Ms Ivy claimed in the video that she was a “biological female”, and there’s no evidence transgender women have an advantage over biological women.

Like most people, I would never demand that fella doesn't pretend he's a woman. No big deal. It just gets bizarre when he demands that WE also must pretend he's a woman. Demanding that grown ups pretend something that silly is weird, unless of course, we're talking to our kids about Santa Claus.
