On that 3rd and 12 we rush three including lundy on the delayed blitz. Dropping warner and Mcclendon back did nothing for us. Why not really and try and get to the quarterback.

Another way we could try to scheme up yards is calling a similar game to the Miami game last year where we played with their LB’s eyes. NCST backers are good but at the same time very trigger happy and can be caught over pursuing in the counter game. Using that fake counter pitch time plays might do us some justice especially since we haven’t gone to it yet this season. Interested in what you guys think about that.

On the touchdown against Cooper in the endzone. When the receiver broke back outside, 13 started looking at the QB. When you look at the QB while covering a route, you'll either run in place for 2 steps or your feet die. In this case, his feet died hence the lack of change of direction. Man rule, see it thrown..see it caught. This was my first time watching you guys, love this and will be back.

Officiating isn't the reason we lost the game, but man it annoys the heck out of me that almost every game its called lopsided in favor of the other team.
In year 3 it seems like we're still consistently miscommunicating in the secondary. Who does that fall on more, the db coach or the dc?

Our corners couldn't even make plays when they were in position. The "miscommunication" on the back end at this point is just f'ing ridiculous and is a big reason we lost. And if Washington and Jaz want to suck that freaking bad at OT then I'm ready to watch some younger guys with higher ceilings.

Like Wake forest you will never just luck or talent your way into a win. If you dont prepare you lose. I cant wait to see their bowl game this year

Several thoughts: First, thanks for the film breakdown. Second what I don’t understand is if something isn’t working why didn’t the coaching staff try something else. For example if jaz is getting beaten put in armello or if defensive pressure seems to be working why not do it more. If RPOs are working why not use them more. I felt like wake was clearly the better team but if we had been a bit more cleaver or willing to find what works and stick with it we may have done better

The coverage from 7 is bad. I dont see what he does to keep 20 off of the field. If we werent running 2 high 7 would have like 10 tds given up already

Great video I wish we played more short zone keep everything in front of you and protect the first down line off coverage is not ideal but it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't we will be fine but we need to get an identity on Defense
