14 Band Spectrum Analyzer Part.1 | Tutorial using Arduino & WS2812

This spectrum analyzers is not two 7 band analyzer operating in stereo. This is a true 14 band analyzers, with accurate frequencies beginning from 40Hz to 16KHz.
This project uses the Arduino Mega 2560 because it has a large enough memory and better performance.
Si5351mcu boards are used for programming masterclock IC frequencies (MSGEQ7).
The Si5351mcu library is needed for this programming.
Special thanks to Pavel Milanes for his outstanding work.

The MSGEQ7 IC is very rare because of limited stock and many sellers sell it but cannot work. if you are having trouble getting an msgeq7 ic you can contact our seller. We guarantee the MSGEQ7 IC can work well.

HI I am confused how you can achieve 14 bands when the MSGEQ7 chips are fixed at 7 discrete bands? Looking at your schematic you just have everything wired in parallel with the same signal fed to both chips so wouldn't both MSGEQ7 chips just output the same data or am I missing something here?

I'm building a version of this. 14 channels, 144 LEDs tall on a 2ft x 3ft board. I'm thinking of a second arduino to run VU meters in the middle.

What are the references in Hz (Hertz) values to mark the 7 frequencies of each channel, at the bottom of each LED strip, for example? Thank you
