She didn't have to be suspended. She made an error and apologized. Everybody calling her anti-semite don't know what they are talking about or are just lying.

Since I'm not Jewish myself, I can't speak from that perspective. However, I have discussed it with Jewish friends, and most of us agree about the basics. She apologized and she seems to understand where she went wrong. I think the ultimate show of good faith will be how she handles co-hosts and guests gently correcting her in the future. I know it's difficult to admit we're wrong, but sometimes it's necessary in the moment.

Whoopi Goldberg did nothing wrong here. Her remarks were not at all hurtful towards those of us of Jewish/Hebrew ancestry. The injustice here was actually done to her. It's really a sad fact of our lives now that people of different backgrounds and different persuasions in this country, in the media and otherwise, could only get together long enough to dump on Whoopi. Who was she supposed to apologize to anyway? Gilbert Gottfried?! Andrew Dice Clay?! Harvey Weinstein?! It's actually the rest of us who owe her an apology. Baruch Hashem and Shalom to you, Ms. Goldberg!

I honestly thought this didn't warrant a suspension as it should have been a teachable moment...I honestly always viewed Jewish people as white in Germany who were just looking at as less than...it happens in many European countries that there's one group that is an outcast...I just didn't think it was about race as Judaism is a religion... but had in not been for Whoopi then I wouldn't have heard otherwise..

One thing I can say about Monique is she’s not a Whoopi or a Nick Cannon or Steve Harvey!
