HTML Crash Course: Semantic-Markup blockquote and q tag

For Marking up quotations there are two elements that are commonly used in HTML, blockquote and q tag. For longer quotes that take up an entire paragraph we use blockquote tag and shorter quotes that sit within a paragraph we use q tag.
Both blockquote and q tag has an attribute 'cite' whose value is a URL. The URL can be an ablsolute URL that points to another web site or a page part of current website. The cite attribute doesn't render anything special in the browser but it is used so the search engines could get better information about the quotation.
