There are far too many people without even a home pc these days or at the very least not enough for a whole families needs.

A laptop would do many of them very well. It can be used for telecommuting for work or school, running heavier programs than phones or tablets can handle, and then used to play games at night (unlike macs) as stated in the ad.

Also due to being a laptop it can easily be used by many family members in different places throughout the day. While a fully decked out PC will be even more capable than the best laptop, a quality laptop these days are usually better than cheap PCs, at least those found in stores or websites that will sell anything.

I wish people the best in these troubling days, in both health and income. If you are considering buying any laptop or computer, please remember there are bad products out there (all the ones in this video are good quality though, it's just a matter of price) but the community will give good advice to those who might not have as much knowledge as they need to make a wise choice.

Two years ago my mother got ripped off badly by Bestbuy, she didn't use me as a reference because it was a gift for me and didn't do research but impulsive buying. Fortunately I made the best of it, ripped out the best parts and made a high end pc from it then used the junk parts to make a second more basic use pc to replace a far older pc for a different family member. Basically my mom blew a grand on a pc that she was told could game and be used for work but actually had a very cheap graphics cards (really just one to set up multiple monitors but not able to do much more) and a proprietary power supply and motherboard (so no upgrading possible like with most laptops), but a high end CPU. From what I gathered the sales rep just heard her price range and pointed her to two machines at her max price and then jumped on the sales pitch of the one she than gravitated towards due to knowing one brand more than the other. So she ended up with a workstation being given to a gamer who also needed a work station.

A laptop like this would have been a far better purchase for what she intended role the machine to be cabable of preforming. I even say this as someone who isn't a fan of laptops. Thankfully I had the skill and funds into making it two computers instead but you might not be so lucky.

I am using latest GeForce machine and a machine from 2004. Feel so much able and powerful on this new machine. Everything seems like a miracle

Totally what I Am doing here. Architect by day, right now a tomb raider at night. lol.Just got my first RTX 2060 notebook and an eGPU case on the way. Now I'm saving to get a nice card for this case. It will help me a lot with not only battling my nights, but rendering the projects, both with RTX technology.
