Introducing the ultimate STEAM makerspace resource - TeacherGeek STEAM Trolley

Показать описание
Roll the TeacherGeek Makerspace Trolley into your classroom, lab, or library for the ultimate Maker/STEM/STEAM solution.
With over 40+ STEM projects and almost every TeacherGeek component ever manufactured, this cart can easily support hundreds of students. Each cart includes a pallet of replacement supplies (way more supplies than you see in the cart, over 15,000 components in total!) and sturdy tools to create almost any project.
The benefit of the TeacherGeek system is that all individual components are designed in such a way that they are all compatible with one another. This saves you time to source the correct pieces, tools, components and activities. All the work has already been done for you! To get started, simply download one of the many activities documents. If you want more information about one of the activities, simply search for the activity on our website – you will find additional engineering challenges, optional labs and much more! Or simply create your own model or design. The possibilities are endless.
Running low on components? Replenish your cart either with complete activity packs, or just individual components. Students will learn science and engineering concepts through experimentation, grow their understanding and evolve projects through the design & engineering process. The TeacherGeek Maker Cart provides ample opportunities for amazing true STEM projects.
A few examples of what students can build with the Makerspace Trolley: Rubber band racer, electromagnet crane, hovercraft, judo/sumo bot, trebuchet, ramp roll vehicle, straw rocket shooter, crane, mousetrap car, boat, robot, weather station, tower, crash car, catapult, hydraulic pet, linkages, gravity car, spin art, air/water pump, wind powered racer, electric/solar car, hill climb, paper air plane shooter, hydraulic lift, wiggle-bot, bridge, geometric shapes, electronic circuits, gear & pulley mechanisms, whirligigs, Rube Goldberg type machines, hydroponics, musical instruments, amusement park ride, pull toy, wind turbine, science fair project, battle bot, their own unique inventions.
Risk assessment should be undertaken to assess the risk of items tipping over. To help prevent tip-over, anchor items (especially tall pieces) to a wall. To attach items to a wall you must use the correct fasteners compatible for your wall construction. Consult a specialist hardware supplier for guidance. Other ways to help prevent tipping are to place heaviest objects on the bottom and never let children climb or hang on the unit. Note: Use of restraints may only reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of tip-over.

Modern Teaching Aids helps educators to make the difference.
It’s something we’ve been proudly doing for over 60 years. We’ve seen a lot of educational changes in that time, plus generations of children and students emerge from the early childhood centres and schools we’ve helped fill with world leading resources.
MTA has over 27,000 products online and in stock (we really leave no educational stone unturned!) and we constantly add to our global and local resources from quality education brands that empower learning. If we can’t find an educational resource, well, we just create it ourselves.
Inside an MTA box, you’ll find curriculum-aligned resources that help every child and educator shine. These are underpinned by deep educational expertise and knowledge within our category team, sales support and customer service.
Professional development opportunities, training and downloadable guides are all part of the MTA offering too.
We do it all with a laser-sharp focus to support educators in engaging and inspiring children right across Australia and New Zealand.
