Visiting with my buddy, Mike (fellow YouTube Creator, Kangal Whisperer Mike, link below) at his renovated old farmhouse (Villa Portelli in Munxar, Gozo) snacking on traditional Maltese food and touring his converted farmhouse, learning about the history of the unique architecture characteristic of these buildings and how some of the old structures (walls, ceilings, arches, furniture, livestock-related layouts, etc.) were incorporated into the finished product, thus preserving aspects of the past rather than simply knocking them down and starting from scratch. To give you a better understanding of what you are going to see at Villa Portelli, Mike takes me down the street to show me an old farmhouse currently under restoration where I will point out similar structures prior to complete renovation.
