The owner actually sold it bc he tried to trademark the game. Someone else used fragalent images of bloxburg and trademarked it before coeptus could. Coeptus tried to tell the other company to let him trademark it, but the bad company said that he would have to pay millions to them to do that. Later, another company (let’s call them company slay) wanted to help bloxburg. Someone posted company slays contract on twitter and it had things like: u cannot work on the game, u cannot be a part of it etc.
Most people thought that was a contract company slay had for coeptus. This is actually a contract for the bad company. Don’t worry. Coeptus still has power in the game, he just sold it to company slay in return for trying to get him trademark (official name) back.
