Tamiya 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire MkIa I Full Build I

This video is a full build of the old tool Tamiya MkI Spitfire. The build was for my own Battle of Britain group build on British Aviation In Scale.

2020, among other things, is the 80th anniversary of the battle that changed the course of history. During my narration in the video, I didn't fully explain my fascination with that period. It is constantly in my imagination and still inspires me today. The new history being written on the battle is especially interesting. I should have spoke more about in the vid..!

In my opinion this is the best Spit for a beginner or someone who is think or has come back to the hobby.

I think these older Tamiya kits get a little forgotten these days with all the newly tooled offerings available.
Just goes to show a nice clean build and descent paint job and you would never now mate!!

Fantastic job. I love the short nose Spits and that is beautiful. I especially like the tight feather on the camo. Did you do that freehand or with masks? Amazing!
