I bought TMS and I'm loving it. It's certainly a niche game that isn't for everyone though. Even with me knowing I was in for a very Japanese strange game I had moments of "okay then... what?" There not being an English dub is certainly a little sad but after the first dungeon area I really didn't even notice it personally (it helps that I've been learning Japanese so I'm usually able to figure out some of the dialogue that isn't subtitled relatively easily). As for the censoring controversy really it only affects the second main dungeon in my opinion, and though I'm sad to see that, knowing what it originally was really fixed it contextually for me. Overall I'm finding it to be a fun semi light-hearted game (as compared to Atlas's other titles) and I'm enjoying it as a fun ride.

The persona games are spin offs of the Shin Megami Tensei series, so that's why it feels like that. you may recognise Bufu, dia, and more moves from persona/SMT too
