Happy New Year to all cubers. Finally did my first sub 20 today, and averaging sub 30. Cubing for 3 years, age 52.

Happy New Year Feliks! And thank you! You were the main reason I started cubing when I watched the video of your 4.22 WR back in 2018. Now I average about 16 seconds for 3x3, and my PB is 10.09. I am hoping that I will be able to finish learning the rest of the pll and oll algs in 2022.

Happy New Year Felix. Thank you for helping to spread the word about cubing. You are the reason I started cubing about two years ago. I average around 33 seconds for the 3x3. My PB is 20.75 seconds. I got a cube once it appeared, curious, but never consequent learning how to solve more than one side for almost 40 years.
3 month ago I watched "The Speedcubers" and everything changed.
The whole community is fascinating and awesome with seemingly a big bunch of friends who compete with something they love. (A bit like Snowboarding 25 years ago)
Dear Feliks, I made sports in competitive ways for my whole life. I have not even experienced someone close to you if it comes to sportsmanship, fairness, respect and friendship. That makes you very special beside all the records you set and this keeps you memorable for even people who are not into cubing.
