Hey, just graduated dental hygiene school. Pro tip, you want a soft toothbrush because the harder it is the more gum recession you will have. Also the scrubbing motion can also cause recession, so I suggest when using a manual toothbrush use the modified bass method since you aren't currently wearing braces (you can look up videos on how to use this technique). If that brushing method is too difficult the fones/ circular method works well as long as you use light pressure.
