Deftones - Rosemary 8 string guitar cover

Got a couple of requests for deftones. Then It shall be! :p
Saw Deftones live recently and Chino plays all the clean parts on his 6 string.
Got pretty bass'y trying to record this lol
Tuning: Standard with the F# dropped to E. (E, B, E, A, D, G, B, E)

Thanks man! I'm looking for an 8 string as a first guitar, and wanted to learn some more atmospheric songs on it(there's plenty of Meshuggah-styly songs on it, but I'm not one to always play heavy stuff), and I'll probably try it on an 8-string. Kudos for an amazing cover!

Thanks again man. I regret buying my 8 in a way. It's a great guitar for sure! but for play-ability I always prefer downtuning a 7-string. I'm not really one for solos so it feels better for me. The reason I bought the RGA8 over was simply the price range. I just wanted an 8-string like yourself lol. The stock pickups were shit...really... so I put Seymour Duncan Blackouts in which are much better. A bit too active for my taste but better :). Guitar was £600 odd. pups were about £180 i think.

right on man thats still solid for the price...nice move on the blackouts. Since I would want my 8 with a whammy, its probably going to be a long time before i get one since all the ones with whammys are high dolla from what i can see haha \m/

in the beginning... try sliding the d string from 7 to 9 .. then to 11...ull hear it better
