This comment is to warn others about the restaurant Plachutta Wollzeile (and this is no way to undermine the Youtubers, experience), I went to this restaurant today. What an awful experience. I didn't even get to try to the food. I'm a solo traveler and was seated and I swear about 15 min went by and no waiter acknowledged me, not even a hello. Then I saw a couple that came in AFTER me and were serviced IMMEDIATELY and the waiter answered any questions they had. I saw waiters service empty tables more - I'm not joking. I went to their Google reviews after and saw an American customer saying they 100% felt it was discrimination. That's what my gut was telling me too, but couldn't be certain. It was either that or I'm a single person so they'll make more money/tips with groups. Either way, that place is vile. I ended up leaving. It was my last day in Vienna too. Just please read the Google reviews on that place, a lot of people felt they were discriminated on, I'd hate for other to feel disappointed when on vacation (or at all).

In the summer time, I HIGHLY recommend to go to a Heuriger. There are loads in the 18th/19th/23rd district (not exlusive to those districs though)
