Young and the Restless: Crazed Ian Snaps - Kidnaps Mariah, Tessa & Their Baby in Twisted Plan? #yr

The Young and the Restless sees Ian Ward (Ray Wise) finds his meticulously laid plans unraveling, potentially leading him to kidnap Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and baby Aria Porter Copeland (Millie Ingle). Since June, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been showing signs of a breakdown, with Ian and Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) being the puppet masters behind the scenes on the CBS soap opera.

Y&R sees Heather Stevens' (Vail Bloom) death marked a turning point in September, with Sharon wrongly accused of the crime. As we approach February sweeps, Ian's desperation and obsession with Mariah may lead him to drastic measures. Ian's twisted vision of a family with Mariah, Tessa, and Aria grows increasingly concerning. However, Mariah, along with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), are aware of Ian's vile intentions.

Young and Restless may see Mariah channeling her mother Sharon Newman's resolve and potentially putting an end to Ian's plans once and for all. With characters like Phyllis Summers, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), and Jordan Howard also caught up in the drama.

Both Ian and Jordan are such great seasoned actors, they have great chemistry together in their scenes. Love how the storyline left them out for us to guess what was going on. It’s good getting away from the Jack/Diane/Kyle one or a Newman takeover plot, which is always on the burner.

I"m not sure why Tessa is acting pleasant and grateful towards Ian for "saving" her. Surely she knows from Maria everything that he did to her and came close to doing. And I'm sure she probably has been told about Nikki's involvement with him when she was young, and the other crimes and stuff he did in GC back in the day. How could she give him a break and think he's reformed?

I don't think Ian kidnaps anyone. I believe Ian's plan all along was to let Jordan do the dirty work and he could keep his hands clean. I think now that Jordan broke it off with Ian, Ian is more angier and may lash out at Jordan and he may do something to her or someone else. (but not to Mariah, Tessa or Aria)

I am interested in seeing Claire's conversation with Jordan. 2 things I wonder 1) If Jordan tells Claire she knows where Sharon is 2) if she tells Claire that Victor had her in the dungeon, and that Michael and Cole know about it

Claire was killing it in her Jordan encounter . Jordan didn’t know if she was comin or goin after Claire got done with foolin the sht out of her. She did an excellent job of thinking on her feet.

How on Earth is it possible no one at the prison has noticed that there is one prisoner short? And how is the doctor in the prison not wondering why one of their sick patients is now going under a different name.
