I play a game with my conure where I (gently) grab his beak with my fingers, wiggle his head back and forth a little bit, and yell “I GOT UR NOSEEE” and he LOVES it 😂 When he wants to play “gotchur nose” he’ll go up to my fingers and put his beak in place.

For anyone who thinks this is dumb or he's going to get hurt, don't be worried. Parrots are incredibly smart and loving and they understand the power of their beak very well.

Their beak is sort of their third "hand" besides their feet to interact with the world around them, so it's not just for eating/biting like our mouth is, the large majority of a parrot beak's everyday use cases don't involve force at all :)

That's a beautiful parrot. My parents had a Vasa parrot and his bite was extremely painful, I can't imagine what a bite from this fella would feel like.
