Unfortunately Leslie Crowe who was the Director and creator of much of this content is no longer with us. So we are hoping to get your help to figure out the places and the names of the people he captured.

Hello, looks like you have footage of someone following Scotland during the 1974 World Cup, big clue here being the young lad wearing the tartan headwear and Scottish blue and white scarf - the WM74 on the back of the bus is the official World Cup 74 poster, and the two 'cartoon characters' next to the poster on the bus are Tip and Tap, the official World Cup mascots for 1974 - the previous comment mentions a Zaire video and possibly Dortmund as the starting point of the journey, good call but not seeing the previous video she refers to, but Scotland played Zaire in Dortmund, their first game...and then went to Frankfurt (Pamphlets) and played Brazil and Yugoslavia...I reckon, checking a map and noticing they were on Autobahn 288, the scenery shot is them crossing the Rhine at a place called Krefeld on the way to Dusseldorf, then taking a plane from Dusseldorf to Frankfurt and then a bus in Frankfurt for the next Scotland game against Brazil.

Back to the “Zaïre” video previously. WM’84 was the FIFA World Cup and on the 14th of June 1984, Zaïre played Yugoslavia in the Westphalenstadion in … Dortmund! 😊

BTW - this Ballygall kid will be in Munich next week!
