Lou singing and there's a lot of people thinking Is Nico's voice. But we hear her voice in the final mix, singing "la la la.." etc.

This song has such an enchanting sound. It's nearly like an avant-garde nursery rhyme.

This was my highschool sweethearts song, and when I hear it even after all these years I can still smell her perfume and feel her touch

Listening to Sunday morning on a Sunday morning then...someone around me calls...out of the blue.
Epic! 😁

Sunday morning, brings the dawn in
It's just a restless feeling by my side
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's just the wasted years so close behind

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all

Sunday morning and I'm falling
I've got a feeling I don't want to know
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's all the streets you crossed, not so long ago

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all

I can picture early Sunday morning in the Village back then. Quiet, maybe a flower vendor setting up. A time gone forever,

Anybody else freeze up the first time they heard this. Lou Reed John Cale changed my life.

Autumn 1970 I moved up to Secondary Modern school, where, everyday, for six weeks, I was battered by a gang of local kids - I was the only kid who bussed in from a tough, working class area that was despised by most in our town - hence the daily ritual beatings.
This track, above all others reminds me of those times and the positives that I took away from it.
And, yes, I played it every Monday morning on my gran's little mono record player before I left home for the bus.

Ahead ahead and ahead again of their time so so so unique; this was totally the most cool scary and original sound ever. Warhol, Cale, Nico and of course Lou Reed all complementing to perfection their own satellite status around a magnificent creative Sun...this will NEVER grow old. Love it.

The fact that a record this good only sold 30k copies upon initial release is a testament to how incredible of a time the late 60s were for music in general. There was literally just that much amazing art coming out. The joke is that everyone who bought this record started a band 😂

this is one of my Top 5 favorite songs, I just love it. My Mom & 1 of my best dogs passed away on Sunday mornings, so it is always bittersweet for me.

Really hypnotic, sweet and intense sentimental masterpiece. This was the debut Song of a dark Genius as Lou was. Also the First Song of this Golden album that in 1966 began his long outstandin career. Missin Lou Reed great tortured soul
