A world-renowned remote viewer and peerless raconteur, Joe McMoneagle reveals the fascinating series of life events that led him to became a Remote Viewer for the US Army in How I Became Remote Viewer 001.

Since Joe retired from the Army in 1984, he has supported the Monroe Institute. He restructured and initiated changes to the Remote Viewing program, which he now teaches. Joe’s talks at Gateways, Guidelines and other seminars have encouraged and inspired hundreds, if not thousands of participants. He worked for Bob Monroe as a problem solver for many years, and is known for his participation as Remote Viewer 001 in the Army’s Star Gate Program, as well as through his many television appearances and RV demonstrations. Joe has also authored four books and a number of articles on the topic of remote viewing.

600 people viewed in a year is way too little. This must go viral like the Bible. I never heard any of this till recently and this is real. What a beautiful person. Truly grateful for these videos. Guess I'm not crazy after all.

I’m fortunate to have gone to the Monroe Institute Gateway experience program well over ten years ago. It was a wonderful experience being there and Joe would come in and have “impromptu” chats with us in a living room kind of setting. There were other fellow gateway experience travelers from around the globe there, and I am still in contact with a couple of them . One day, hopefully in the near future, I will be able to attend his remote viewing class. 🙏

Here is a story from a famous international bestseller published in *1960* It gives a picture of massive funding since the 1950s(!) for all kinds of ESP research by US GOV, private industries and leading think tanks: ...the American Atomic Energy Commission proposed in 1958 that clairvoyants should be employed in an attempt to foresee where Russian bombs would fall in the event of war. (31st August, 1958, Report of the Rand Commission.)

On July 25, 1959 (!) a mysterious passenger boarded the nuclear submarine
"Nautilus".

The boat immediately set out to sea and for sixteen days, without rising to the surface, it was submerged. Nameless passenger did not leave his cabin.

Only the sailor who brought him food, and Captain Anderson, who came
to him daily, saw his face.

Twice a day he handed a piece of paper to the captain.

On these sheets in various combinations five signs were depicted: a
cross, a star, a circle, a square and three wavy lines.
These were the signs of Zenner's cards.

Captain Anderson and an unknown passenger put their signatures on each sheet,
and the captain sealed them in the bag, putting them inside
two envelopes. One had the hour and date, the other was stamped

"Top secret. Destroy in case of danger. "

On Monday, 10 August 1959, a boat moored at Crayton's dock.
The passenger sat down in the waiting the car that delivered him to
the nearest military airfield.

A few hours later, the plane landed at the small airfield in
Maryland. The car was already waiting.
The passenger was delivered to the entrance of the buildings with the sign:
"Westinghouse Center for Special Studies. Entrance without passes are
prohibited. "

He asked the attendant to let him in to see Colonel William Bowers,
Director of Biological Research Services, United States Air Force, PhD.
Colonel Bowers was waiting for him in his office.

Sit down, Lieutenant Jones, ” he said. - Do you have the package? Without a word
Jones handed the package to the colonel, who went to the safe, opened
it and took out the same package, with the only difference that it was stamped not
"Submarine", but “Research Center in Maryland”.

Bauer opened both bags, took out the smaller envelopes,
printed them out in turn, and both officers silently put them aside
sheets with the same dates. Then they began to compare them.

Accurate to 70% and above the signs were the same and stood in the same order on both sheets, marked with the same date.

“You and I are witnessing a turn in history, ” Colonel William said Bauer. -
For the first time in the world, in an environment that does not allow
any falsification, with precision sufficient for practical use, human thought transmitted
over a distance without an intermediate device - directly from the brain to the brain.

When it will be possible to find out the names of two people who
participated in this experience, they will undoubtedly be preserved for history.

They are currently "Lieutenant Jones", a naval officer, and "Mr. Smith"
student at Duke University in Durham (North Carolina, USA).

Twice a day, for sixteen days, locked in a room from where he is
never went out, Mr. Smith was sitting in front of a machine that
automatically ejected cards. Inside this apparatus, thousands of cards were continuously
shuffled in the drum. These were not ordinary playing cards, but simplified, so-called Zenner cards. These cards have long been used in experiments in parapsychology.

All of them were of the same color, and each had one of five symbols:
three wavy lines, circle, cross, square, star twice a day.

The machine threw out cards at random at intervals of one minute. Mr
Smith stared at the map, trying to think hard about it.

At the same hour at a distance of 2000 km at hundreds of meters of
depth from the surface of the ocean lieutenant Jones tried to guess
which card was in front of Mr. Smith's eyes.

He noted the result and gave Captain Anderson to assure the sheet of
experience with his signature. Jones guessed correctly seven times out of ten.
No tricks here were not possible.

Even if we assume the most incredible conspiracy, then
after all, between the submarine and the laboratory where Smith was,
there was no no connection.

Even radio waves do not penetrate several hundred meters deep
seas. For the first time in the history of science, an indisputable
proof of the possibility of messages at a distance directly from the brain to the brain.
Parapsychology finally entered the scientific phase.

This great discovery was made due to military necessity. FROM the
early 1957, the famous Rand Corporation, dealing with the most secret research
for the American government, sent a report on this question to President Eisenhower.

There you could read:

“Our underwater boats are now useless, for they cannot be contacted
when they are submerged, and especially when they are under the polar ice.
All means of communication must be used. "

Rand's report throughout the year did NOT have any consequences.
Because scientific advisers to President Eisenhower
though the idea was too much like table-turning.

While "beep-beep" of Sputnik 1 sounded like a bell over the world, the
largest American scientists decided that it was time to move in all directions,
including those that are despised(!) by the Russians.

American science has turned to public opinion.

July 13, 1958 Sunday Supplement to the New York Herald Tribune(?)
published an article by the largest military specialist in the American press
A.E. Talbert. He wrote:

“The US military should know that the energy emitted by the human brain
can render through thousands of kilometers AND influence... another human brain(!) ...

Here we are talking about quite scientific research; ascertained phenomena,
like everything produced by living the body, feeds on the energy resulting..
from the combustion of food by human organisms ...

If we give this phenomenon a large scale, then it can give
us a new means of communication between submarines and land, and someday -
between interplanetary spaceships and our planet. "

As a result of this article, due to the numerous reports of scientists,
that confirmed the Rand Corporation report, decisions were made.

Research laboratories for the needs of the new science - parapsychology -
exist (1960!!) at :

the Rand Corporation in Cleveland,

at Westinghouse in the Friendship, Maryland,

General Electric in Schenectady,

Bell Telephone in Boston, and even at

the Army Research Center in Redstone, Alabama !

In that, in the latter center, the thought transmission laboratory is less than
half a kilometer from… Wernher von Braun's ! office.
(what about a claim by Russel Targ how he supposedly `persuaded` von Braun by his (Targ's toy, an ESP `machine` ;) )

So the conquest of the planets and the conquests of human thought
are already ready to stretch out their hands to each other.

In less than ONE year, these laboratories received MORE results than it
has been all together collected for over a century(!) of telepathy research by ALL OTHERS.

The reason is simple: the researchers started from scratch, with no
preconceived idea.

Commissions were sent to the whole world:

in England, where the commission established contact with a genuine scientist,
checking the phenomena of thought transmission. Dr. Soul of Cambridge
was able to report commission on the demonstration of communication
for many hundreds of kilometers between two young miners from Wales.

In Germany, the commission met with such undeniable scientific authorities,
like Hans Bender and Pascual Jordan, who not only observed phenomena
transmission of thought, but they were not afraid() to write about it.

In America itself evidence multiplied.

Chinese scientist Chin Yu Wang was able to use several employees, also Chinese,
to give Rand Corporation the final, apparently, evidence of the
possibility of transmission of thought.
...

...when mental communication is established at a distance, the transmitter,
as well as the recipient, both- feel nothing.

The connection comes at the level of the unconscious, BUT in the area
of the conscious - nothing is registered!

The transmitter does not know if the message has reached the other side,

the recipient does not know if he is receiving signals from another brain

or.... is making them up himself (!!) (AOL, analytic overlay).

This is why, instead of trying to convey difficult or controversial images -

the transmission of the simplest five characters in the Zenner
table is used.

When this transmission is established, it will be easy to use these
cards as code,
like Morse code, and convey intelligible messages.

Now we are talking about improving the way of communication, about how
to make it more effective.

The work is going in many directions, and, in particular, they are looking for:

medications of psychological action that facilitate the transmission of thought.!!!!

American pharmacologist Dr. Humphrey Osmond has already received the
first results in this area and reported them at a meeting of the New York Academy of
Sciences in March 1947 of the year.

However, neither Lieutenant Jones nor Mr. Smith (see above) did not
used any drugs, because the purpose of these experiments of the US Navy is to
investigate to the end the capabilities of a normal human brain.
Except for the coffee, which seems to improve transmission. And aspirin, which, on the contrary, cancels,
paralyzes it, -

NO drug was permitted in the Rand Corporation experiments.
