It would be nice to extend the functionality of the app to add new expenses items and categories from the app itself, not from the notion website. It will keep the notion as a backend and all required operations could be done via the app

PD.: If you have problems with the connection between integration and DB, it's because Notion got updated and now you have to click the three dots on the upper right corner and select "Add connections". There are the names of the integrations you've made before.
