Показать описание
Non Action Verbs, or Stative Verbs, are verbs that have no action. They are a state of mind and therefore we usually don't use them in a continuous tense, such as Present Continuous, Past Continuous, Future Continuous or the Perfect Continuous tenses.

We can divide Non Action Verbs into 5 categories to help us remember.

1. Feelings or Emotions: these are verbs on how you feel such as love, hate or like.

2. Senses: These 5 senses are hear, see, feel, smell and taste.

3. Thinking Verbs: These are a state of mind such as forget, remember, be, know, understand, and imagine.

4. Belonging: These verbs refer to things that pertain to a person. Own, have or belong.

5. Desires: The verbs need, want and wish all refer to desires and are non action.
