I wish Perty overheard Horus. He would have been smart enough not to challenge the chaos juiced Horus directly but proceed to nuke Horus’s forces before leaving which would have ended the Heresy a lot quicker.

His legion's fame came from either going agaist inferior oponents, or abusing the sh** out of Raven Guard before they were united with Corax. Heck, even the pacification of Luna was mainly a job of Raven Guard (and that was a battle that gave Luna Wolves their name).

Horus is talking out of his ass here. Rogal Dorn's biggest concern during the Siege was never Angron, Mortarion, or Fulgrim; it was Perturabo, the only one of his brothers who had the intelligence, resolve, and eye for details required to shatter the palace's defenses.
