Question, for the following and preceding interval, do you use the same equation as the centered?

This video was soo helpful thanks! Just a quick question, for centred method is it fine if you chose any two points that are h units away from the desired point. For instance instead of choosing 30 and 40 like you did, maybe choosing 45 and 25?

If I'm given a question asking to estimate the instantaneous rate of change of each function at the given point. f(x)=x^3+x^2 (2, 12) Would I do f(2.01)-f(1.99)/2.01-1.99, or would it be something like f(2.01)-f(2)/2.01-2?

So basically the IRC for a linear equation is the slope or m, but for other type of equations like quadratic or exponential, thats where you get into calculus and finding the derivative ?

if the AROC is = 0? What does that indicate? Say for example if f(x) = x^2 and your 2 x points are -1 and 1

Why is the Y coordinate also f(x+h), when h is the horizontal distance and not the vertical distance ?
