DofE Gold Practice Expedition, South Dartmoor

DofE Gold practice expedition 2022.
April this year we did this expedition across South Dartmoor, being relatively cold and windy the entire time. The morning of day 3 our tents outer-layers were completely frozen! The temperatures that morning started off at -4 degrees Celsius, and rose up to just a few degrees over zero.
Gold DofE is definitely a big step up from Silver, with longer days and distances, as well as earlier mornings... But as a result it is much more rewarding! Having just completed my assessed expedition between editing this video, that was another huge step up again.

Really trying to create more videos this year now I have finished school, improving the quality of my videos too.
