Listen to those rumbles! Kumbura just wants Khanyisa to get up already. The allomother turns around and uses her back feet to urge Khanyisa to rise from her position on the ground. But the calf is enjoying the sand too much. She shows this as she gets up, only to find a path to a new corner of sand to play in. 🐘

Tender hearted Kumbura, she is the heart beat of this Herd. I will Never forget her walking up to Meet little Braveheart Twice as she headed towards the Herd several years ago. . Love demonstrated by a young teenage Kumbura towards a baby Khaynsia. Kumbura has my heart.
