RDR2 simple way to explore Guarma

In the mission where you save Javier and Dutch is sabotaging the factory and tells you to go outside simply just over the wall and you get to explore Guarma freely without getting killed instantly

I was just there and returned. PS4 version, december 2023. Go to the cave withe hermit, drink till you pass out. Youll wake up outside the map. Follow the perimeter of the map without going into the undeveloped area. Ride all the way around the map to approximately the area south of St Denis. At some point the map will change and it will show you are riding through the water even though you appear to be on land. Youll eventually fall through the ground and die. When you respawn, you'll be in Guarma, free to roam around. You can interact with people and there are even random events.

As soon as you get to Gurama, Chapter 5 and can free roam, AVOID THE YELLOW ? Stranger marker. Go around it. Tada, no sniper. Worked for me on PC, Feb 2024

It’s fake, you mission fail because you get too far from Dutch
