Stores make online shopping more convenient

By the end of Covid, nearly 80% of retail chains were offering in-store pickup of online orders and more were offering in-store returns than before the pandemic. And there was a big uptick in retail chain websites showing consumers what inventory is in stock in each store, which is really convenient because shoppers don’t want to get to the store to find that the store is out of what they came for.​
