I am not making a Minecraft server (yet) but this was very helpful. So many other guides I read recommend changing the nameservers to Linode's NSs but I didn't want that, plus I already had MX records for my email provider.

hey, trying to get this to work using an aternos server, but i cant seem to figure it out. When I attempt to put the server ip into the Value column it tells me record data is invalid
