I have cleared in 2nd attempt with 270 marks truly speaking in my 1st attempt i was suffering from health issues that's failed never taken my classes properly but in nov exams i prepared with full efforts and not any content all i study from you tube and truly koi bhi mock test ya koi pura exam nahi likha kabhi for any subject but the reason why I passed is only daily revision of what i have study on a day and before 10 days before exams 2 3 topics are left but my 85 % preparation is 100% that's why I passed.... Daily revision is the key guys

Nov 22 :- Gave G1 (inter ) of failed by 23 marks
May 23 :- Gave G1(inter ) failed by 6 marks
Nov 23 :- Gave Both group - cleared both group
How ??
* Continuous efforts, avoiding parties and celebration and full focus on icai modules RTPs MTPs .
* Revising theory subjects again and again is mandatory and practical subjects should be practiced not just audited.
* Very consciously choose your comfort subjects and try to bring them on your tips this will definitely help you in aggregate.

Why ICAI Fail Us?

Answer 1: Students are responsible for it, ICAI has nothing to do with it.

Answer 2: ICAI is responsible, students have nothing to do with it.

Both are extremes and not correct.

I want to share on why do we have this question of "ICAI failing us".
(In context of For CA FINALS)

ICAI tries to keep the passing percentage around
10% for group 1
20% for group 2 ( as per trend, there are outliers but let's say)

This is the passing criteria, to be in the top 10%/20%, it's a percentile system.

But the exam passing criteria is, me scoring 40/50 marks.

What I have understood is, there is inconsistency with the understanding of exam and "the ICAI is responsible for it".

Those who question why ICAI has failed me, they are more upset on the marks they have got in perticular subjects or they are upset on aggregate sort.(there may be other reason but this is what I think)

It's disheartening for students to not even get 40 marks or say 50% in aggregate.(for students who think they have worked hard). With failing to secure what looks like not even getting 2 questions of 20 marks correctly.
ICAI does check paper in such a way that students feel cheated. You can raise a poll that how many students feel like they should have got more marks or they should have got marks in perticular questions and didn't get it.
You know sir from your experience as you interact with students that around half of them feels this way.
This make students loose the confidence in the institution.

We know that ICAI awards marks in such a way that certain percentage of students clear the exam.

The thing which I want to convey is,
ICAI should accept that the above statement is true.
And make this exam a percentile based.


We might not ask ICAI that why they have failed us if we get 70 marks and fail the exam. (say paper has been checked without keeping in mind that I have to pass 10% of students)

Atleast we know that to clear the exam we have to get to the 80/90 percentile.

For example:
CFA(US) evaluate students on percentile basis, we can copy the evaluation technique and implement it for CA exams.

I will share my anecdote and some advice. I couldnt clear my Ca inter exams partially , and let’s say even if one does all the hardwork and gets as close as c final group 2 left. If you fail to clear that too, your career will be shaky. Not saying one shoud abandon ca, but pick up some short term course to get foot in the door and on the sideline you can give your ca exams. Do your due diligence - but my recommedations would be. 1. Us Cpa -4 exams starting package about 8-10 lacs . 2 . Acca - if you can get a lot of exemptions thrn great or it would be costlier than cpa . 3 . Us cma - 2 exams avg startinf salary about 6 lacs pa. There are other courses too like FRM, Enrolled agent for us tax - good salaries. Plus big 4s hire too Even Cpas, Accas and in some cases us Cma . Yes these courses are much more expemsive than Ca but consider it an investment if you are sick of giving ca exams . Nobody gave me this advice, so i hope it is helpful to a few atleast .

No one is talking about the questionable paper checking.
But, yes, all the blame must be put onto the students.

Yes sir you are absolutely correct because when I failed in May 23 then I decide to give each and everyday 1%
To become 100% so I decide from that day I will study each and every day with proper study manner
You just only need one thing that is hope and self confidence
That's it if you right to pass then no one will be failed you
At the same happened with me I write a November 23 exam with intention to pass this exam and I pass this exam with two exemption❤❤
So in my opinion only one things matter it's your mindset
And lots of study
And even the test series
In three four time revision
I got 224

The title is not really appropriate as icai does not deliberately fail students to maintain the required passing percentage rather the dedication and hard work that this course requires is manageable only by a limited number of students every attempt. It's us who eventually fail to achieve the passing criteria even though most of the questions are asked from icai modules and past year questions. Now with 6 papers taking place instead of 8 we can expect the level of papers to go up even higher and be more practical oriented so just focus on your studies and do not think about such things which are not in our hands🙏.

Maine last attempt may 2018 diya tha, fir quit kr diya tha, but sometime apke video dekh leta hu its good for direction. 🙏👏
