I'm a permanent lurker and occasional commenter. Your channel is absolutely one of my favorites and I missed it when you were gone! 🐇

Loved hearing about your journey. Do love your channel. It was one of the first I stumbled on in my BT watching that began over 3 or 4 years ago. I have a top 10 and you are always in it. Love mostly the variety of books you read and discuss and the extended book reviews and also the top 5 that you sometimes do. Hope you stick around, I was sad during your previous break. I'm here for the books always, but love hearing a little about life also and this video was great for that. Thanks for answering the questions thoughtfully.

I so love your discussion of your conversation with your father! It does mean a lot to have parents who can also be friends, doesn't it?

I love your niche videos like non human narrators one. They are so fun and I always get so many good recs!

Thanks for the tag! I had watched the original and am now enjoying seeing the responses. I tried filming a response to the last video you tagged me in but hated my attempt and then deleted it so let's hope this time around goes better! I'm really impressed how Booktube truly helped you get back into reading. How lovely.

Editing? Never heard of her hahahaha. I'm pretty similar in that style haha. I have a couple "specific nonfiction" videos, I think I had "crazy evolution" as a theme in one. My trademark was nonstop nonfiction hahaha. Not as many as you tho for sure. I'll add Waterfall of Stars to a tbr somewhere. Hosting readathons is fun. Great video as usual Emma

Hi Emma, this was so interesting! I always learn something from your videos. I have contemplated having a channel but I do not read as many books as a typical book tuber does. I am not sure I am a slow reader but I have a full time job and a solid workout schedule that allows me to only read about 45m to 1 hr in the early morning. I am committed but cannot possibly read as many books as some do here. At least not until I retire from work. What would (if any) your recommendation be for a not so prolific reader thinking of starting a channel? My purpose would be to become more confident, and actually verbalize my reviews of what I read instead of just internalizing them. Thank you for any suggestion you can share! Or not. Thank you anyway.

The book tube newbie tag is a good thing to put oneself out there, but it is such a cringe thing to look back at…
