This award honors initiatives or programs that have driven successful talent development efforts to strengthen the
Wisconsin Workforce.

F I N A L I S T S :

Inspire – Madison Region
Inspire Madison Region is a web-based interactive workforce development platform administered by MadREP, the
regional economic development organization. The platform is available in all 63 school districts in the region and
connects middle and high school students to over 600 companies and career coaches and to experiential learning
activities at local employers.

Superior Talent - Northwestern Wisconsin
Superior Talent is a talent attraction weekend focused on recruiting high-demand Master’s-level healthcare
professionals to the Chequamegon Bay area. Superior Talent focused on the need for healthcare professionals in
speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and nursing. Local healthcare employers and
businesses formed relationships with attendees, showcased their facilities, and promoted the work-life balance that
the Northwoods has to offer.

UW Health Hope Program - Madison
The Health Occupations and Professions Exploration (HOPE) Program was founded by Dr. Bridgett Willey at UW
Health in 2013 to provide high school and college students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to
explore careers in healthcare through a one-day seminar. To date, HOPE has involved over 2000 students, over 250
of which have completed a summer internship and 77 of which have become employed at UW Health.
