How To Get Live Desktop Translations! Great for Japanese Games and Visual Novels!

Playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of The Visions JP before Global release?
Or maybe JP Star Ocean Anamesis since GL servers went down?
Or maybe a Japanese visual novel?
Bringing your phone up to the screen to analyze every 2 seconds is obnoxious! And filling your phone's memory with countless photos to feed Google Translator is equally annoying!
Here's a better idea! Just run a live translator on your desktop next to the game itself!! I show you how in this video!

Wow. I can't believe this worked. I tried several other methods and failed, but this one did the trick.
Now I can play my H-games, and get a much better understanding of them :D
And the translation, on the first game I used it on wasn't flat out terrible like I thought it'd be. But I've barely started, so only time will tell.

FYI this still works (as of March 2024), but now I have to download Google Lens to get this going, as Google has made that part of the Translate app. Also, I had to run the app in mobile mode/portrait mode, otherwise the screen cap shows up sideways. Not sure why it does this but it's not a big deal imo.

I really support you a lot I have just arrived on your channel by what I seek to translate my screen directly and seeing a chain you can I notice that you must have a deformation which makes me quite sad! I see a lot of your videos are "Not Watched" / "No View" but really you deserve a lot more! Alright, so this took a mild bit of work for LDPlayer 9. One, I kept getting an error saying Virtualization was turned on and it would cause problems. Eventually I rebooted my PC again (I use Virtualization and need it more than the minor inconvenience this saves me from holding up my phone), but on reboot it started working.

I then had to go into LDPlayerMulti and setup a new instance with Android 5, as the default is Android 9. So the new instance of Android 5 did work with all of this. The default way it's setup though will not.
