I can see why Trump would be upset about Kamala doing a softball interview - Trump only takes hard hitting interviews, like this one with Lex for instance.

Unfortunately, I don't think interviews are much help in terms of getting the answers we need from these two. Harris spends so much time rehearsing what she's going to say it's difficult to know what she actually thinks. It seems unlikely she'd take a Lex interview because he might catch her off guard. Trump speaks more off the cuff but gravitates to generalizations, hyperbole, and redirection, so no matter how thoughtful the questions may be--and Lex asked some great ones--Trump's going to talk about what he wants to talk about.

He was lame in this interview, but not wrong about her recent "live" interview. Most of the time she sounds sloshed or medicated. Maybe it helps her not do that nervous cackle? I don't know but her inability to stay on topic, or even string together coherent thoughts is outrageous. Unless she really improves he wins handily.
