Finding Paradise||Better or Worse!?

So I have been wanting to do an analysis of Finding Paradise. Or, at the very least, one more video at least. I have been wanting to rant and blather on about this game for funsies since I have played it. Now after all the time that I have spent thinking on it and being lazy, I've finally come up with some subject matter for the video.

As the title points out, is Finding Paradise better or worse than To the Moon? Let's go ever everything involved in making this decision shall we? And then I'll tell you my comprehensive opinion of what my answer is afterwards.

This video isn't intended to tell people that they are wrong for disliking Finding Paradise, or to say that any game is better than the other. This is all subjective bullshit and I really just enjoy looking at things in depth because it's fun to do and often times it can be enlightening. It opens your mind to other possible perspectives in the world on a similar topic.

Stick around and say hello to get a role and join in the conversation :D

Nice vid! Pretty concise and brought up the main plus points of what I felt about both games.

I played TTM a few days ago and ended up watching pewdiepie's playthrough of FP, and I was so pleasantly surprised that I liked FP over TTM. I dont hear FP being talked about much, and certainly was rare seeing ppl prefer FP, so i was looking on youtube to see if anyone made a discussion video on it and stumbled upon yours.

FP imo is underappreciated as a sequel because it did what sequels are meant to do -- improving on flaws from the previous installment and offering a new experience.

Some of the changes:
- TTM lulled you into a false sense of security before things took a turn, while FP presents many different conflicts and mysteries from the get-go that hook you
- TTM's timeline went backwards while FP's was a spiral, making the structure of the plot rly interesting too as you piece everything together
- TTM had Rosalene being a bit sus before we found out her true intentions and rationale, while in FP this was switched over to Watts
- Puzzles were made a bit more complex in FP, increasing the difficulty with each puzzle too. While i think the "gameplay" is still weak, i can appreciate the effort they made to improve lol
- Both games explored different themes of their own. FP delved deeper into the ethical implications of sigcorp, explored themes of friendship, denial and isolation. TTM did more of the tragedy and romance. TTM had hinted some interesting ethical issues, but i personally was sad that they werent talked about much. Thankfully FP actually discussed those more

While things can always be better i think it's worth acknowledging the changes that they made to make the game set apart from its predecessor, and not just smt to milk TTM's success
