I play to a 3 hc index. I can tell you 60%+ of the strokes in a round are within 150 yards of the hole. Everyone is looking at his driver swing, which is very functional. A guy like him that golfs often is going to be very good with his chipping and putting. While his drives dont go 300yards they go far enough to get him into scoring position. He has a very good game, like him or not.

122 mph is pretty good ball speed at that age. I am a retired pro, 74, legs gone so I struggle to get to 120. Lee Trevino was clocked last year at 125. I doubt Nicklaus can get to 120 now as his legs and back are gone. Just adding some context to those hackers who get 180 mph when they hit the ball ob.
