Obelisk is what the final card reminds me of.
Because, in yugi’s last match against Kaiba, Kaiba sacrificed XYZ Dragon cannon to summon obelisk.

I was so hyped for 5 minutes after they were revealed until I read them carefully.

- Why are the light locks so early? ABC has built up a really nice repertoire of ED tech from Synchros/XYZ/Links that aren't light and the new monsters are designed more as starters not extenders which kills even rudimentary endboads like ABC + IP with Underworld Goddess or Apollousa in ED.

- X Head stops the monsters from special summoning themselves from the S/T so if you want another body you're gonna have to use union driver at which point Hangar becomes a bit redundant

- Why is XYZ during the opponents turn? if it's going to be opponents' turn only, at least don't give it a OPT so it can resemble the original and be the weakest form of quick effect removal with a cost.

- Why isn't the tag out Quick Effect? No it'll just get removed on summon a great place for a light lock would have been on this effect if it was OPT ao if your opponent threatens it you can tag into another fusion's Material

- Why does the spell have to add and summon the searched card? It does the classic thing of adding a garnet in your deck turning off the card. I would have worded it "Add a monster with 3000 or more. You can normal summon a monster with 3000 or more attack from your hand."
So even if you hard draw your brick of choice (Beast King Barbaros) you can still normal summon it even if you didn't search it.

Union Activation's second effect lets me think about any other scenario where you are able to Summon 3 Light Machine Monsters at the same time and there is only 1 other solution besides ABC /XYZ and that is Cyber Dragon. You can use Cyber Dragoncore with Machine Duplication and Summon 3 Original Cyber Dragon from your deck (as Dragoncore has 500 ATK and is treated as Cyber Dragon an the field and Machine Duplication searches for Name Copies not Card Copies.)

Saw a smaller yugioh channel on a short if kaiba couldve used the god cards better than atem and i commented on if he had a version of swarm and tribute 3 like yugi with the playing card knights he could, instead of only using soul exchange and/or defuse Beud intro 3 blue eyes and then theses guys come in with the abc ish effect to exacly like i wished nice 🥶🥶😎

So the play is X-Cross to equip Y-Dragon and then contact fuse into ctroller to search Activation, to send B-Buster from deck to GY to get Z-Zillion then special this from hand using controls 2nd effect, to equip the banished Y-dragon head then special Dragon with it's effect to equip B-Buster dragon then special Drake and link to search with Drake and.... idk X-Cross is still banished. im confused whats the combo?
