Is it possible to replace the 165 out of the 3-way by a flax 8" sub shallow and still use the 3" midrange and the tweeter for the upper registers?

I’m trying to decide between Flax 3 way and Utopia M 3way. Is the sound quality difference as big as the price difference to justify it for a SUV? also I play off my iPhone Apple Music lossless. Usually Bluetooth.

What do you recommend 2 way or 3 way? I currently have a 3 way B&O audio system in my car from the factory was going to upgrade to the flax series but I dont know if it is worth the money to do a 3 way over a 2 way, what do you recommend? Also what is a good amp that can handle these? Your help would be much appreciated. Thank You!

Would the Alpine Power pack be enough for these? I just got the ILX-W650 from you guys. I wanted to get the power pack and possibly new speakers. 2004 Civic Si Hatch back. Will these fit? The 3 ways in the back and the separates up front.

Bonjour, j'ai acheter les enceintes PS 130 FE. Après les avoir installer à l'avant de ma voiture j'ai pu tester leur qualité qui est vraiment top ! Pour l'instant j'ai laisser les enceintes d'origine à l'arrière et j'ai remarquer que les enceintes pS 130 FE ne font pas du tout de basses ! Beaucoup moins que les enceintes d'origine d'ailleurs... pouvais-vous m'éclairer ?

I am thinking of using Sony Xav-ax7000 to connect Flax Evo speakers. How would that work? Ax7000 offers 45 watt rms per channel but that may be not enough.

can the ps165f3 woofer and tweeter be mounted without the midrange (with active crossover)? also, is there a significant improvement from the ps165f3 to the ps165f3e?

How do the shallow mount flax speakers perform? I don’t have the mounting depth space to fit the regular 6.5 inch speakers so I’m wondering if there is a performance drop with the shallow mount version?

Mine are now in their "burning in" time!! I have the 165 FXE. And I am allready starting to love them. Mine are powering from a Audison SR 4500 V2. Together with a 6x9 from Focal.

And another Audison monoblock (the AP4D) for the sub. (A Hertz MPS 300 S4) in a closed box. Together it sounds sweet!! 👍
