Recording his design the way he did is a far greater learning experience for us viewers than it would be for him to record a perfect design that has no flaws. One of the best parts of creating anything is the design process.

This was a really nice build. I especially like the re-milling of the miter track. Watching someone else's process of problem solving is always interesting. Thank you for yet another great series!

I did that jump about 10 times total to get the take just right.

Matthias, I REALLY like your price point and end functionality comments!!!! Especially, where this saw fits in terms of purchased tooling! I think this is something everyone should do, though I have FAR more confidence in your opinion than many, many others. You've never shown a single thing I thought was shady or exaggerated, which is rare. Thanks again for your videos and updates of other things like your moves, family, and your historical rewind with the cabins and growing up. Absolutely one of the best "reality shows" on the planet! Keep up the great work!!

I have a lot of respect for you because of this video and the transparency with which you state what works and what doesn't. Too many people would put up a video the day they build something saying it is the greatest ever. If it would break the next day no one would ever hear about it. Keep up the good work.

I don't think dust is a real concern with those motors. I've been using my circular saw table saw for over a year now on a daily basis and had no problems so far.
I must say that this saw of yours was a really cool project to watch and turned out very very nicely!

I greatly admire your thought process and ability to explain!  Fun watching your whole video.

Good build series buddy. Having a little guy like this thing is perfect to have a fixed jig on it and still have the big table saw fixed with another jig or a dado stack and keep cutting away moving things faster!

I really enjoyed this build. I really like these multi-part builds but I wish the videos would come out like 2 a day. THANK YOU!

Exactly. And I found, the videos where I don't know the outcome when I start get more views too. Main downside is the videos with mistakes tend to be longer.

A fascinating project and your observations at the end make good sense.

The video series is what it is. I like seeing the mistakes and the ideas to make it better.

My friend and I have built a table saw using a circular saw. We used a router to cut out a shouldered hole, and then made some drop in inserts. On one of the three drop in inserts we mounted the circular saw. Since the drop in inserts are circular, we can rotate the drop in 360 degrees. It locks in place to prevent wiggling around from vibration, and getting the fence aligned with the blade is no problem.

this is a money saving project Matthias, I will customized the table this way the broom can reach the bottom to sweep the saw dust

Thinking about your dust issue. If you were to cut a hole in the back on the bottom of your stand and hook your hose up there and leave the front open some it might still keep the dust down good and allow your saw to breath better. Just a thought.
