I'm not learning English but teaching (a different subject) at a university. However, there are lots of things I can learn from Aly's videos - e.g., how to explain, clarify and articulate subtle differences.

Hiya, dude!
Well! here are my examples (glad, draining, demanding, affectionate, clingy, stubborn, persistent, tenacious, exhausting )
1) The high school in Egypt is so" demanding " especially the senior year,
2) Yesterday was a" draining" day for me 😭, i went with my friends to book chemistry private classes and that was "exhausting" because we had to wait in that educational center for around 7 hours
There were a lot of people, noise and chaos and of course the temperature was pretty high but me and my 2 friends waited " tenaciously" and eventually we did it, i'm genuinely "glad" that that terrible day is over (true story)

3) i'm an "affectionate" person, but i'm NOT clingy
4) in my opinion it's good to be " tenacious" but not " stubborn"
Please correct me if I used them wrongly

I broke up with someone but this person was not just clingy but also possessive. Not a good combination, I'm telling you.

Hi Papa, good one! Could it be said about a clingy person that they are needy? I'd be glad to know that! 🙂

Oh, John! You know that Jimmy is such a stubborn person. So, stop wasting your time arguing the toss! he'll stick to gun on this issue.

Hey 👋🏻
Aly, could you please tell us what should we use instead of hello (both formal and informal) when we don’t know what time zone is our speaking partner? I’ve heard there is a common phrase, but it’s not the good morning/evening/afternoon?

Hiya! If I say, for instance, "I look at this mountain with trepidation" or "I look at this mountain with awe" - is it similar to "formidable"? Cheers!

I had a coworker who was clingy and I felt repelled by her since I met her but she wouldn't stop trying to force a friendship. Then a couple of months later I quit the job, and she sent me such creepy texts about how much she would miss me, but in an intense creepy way. I'm glad I don't have to deal with her anymore.
