I have watched a lot, and i mean A LOT, of videos and documentaries over the years of the Apollo missions and you sir have created an absolute masterpiece! There were moments in this video that welled up emotions inside of me like no other video has of the Apollo missions and I mean that sincerely. What an absolutely wonderful job! Thank you so much for your hard work! I truly wish that you were more widely recognized for your efforts and to encourage that I'll be sure to spread the word for you!

7/9/2019: BBC attempted to block this video from being seen in ALL COUNTRIES because they claimed ownership over 5:40-6:30, the CBS newscast of Apollo 11, a part of this video that even shows the CBS logo.
BBC of course, a different company (and competitor) of CBS.

4/8/2019: NBC Universal attempted to block this video from being seen in ALL COUNTRIES because they claimed ownership over the 27:50-29:00 parts, or the LM descent footage.
This footage was taken by the astronauts and is part of the mission's official 16mm DAC motion picture library, and therefore belongs to NASA. I did not get this footage from NBC or any of their affiliates, and it is a blatant disregard for American copyright law for a single media company to claim ownership over what belongs in the public domain.

I was 12 years old when Apollo 11 landed on the moon. As a young boy I was filled with wonder of the exploration and proud of the achievement. I have seen many depictions of this historic event but none has moved me like this documentary has. This film is truly a work of art. Thank you.

These documentaries are getting way less recognition than they should be receiving.

I was 9 when they landed, and yea i was excited! I dont think people appreciate the fact that for THOUSANDS of years, humans looked at the moon and wanted to go... but it was in OUR little lifetimes that it actually happened!!! Still gives me

I was in the public viewing area when that mission launched. I was 5 years old. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Your work must be installed in the National Archives. They are a national treasure. Nothing else documents our greatest achievements of all time like your documentaries. I cannot say enough good about your work.

I was 12 when the first lunar landing happened. I built the models of all the craft and hung them from the ceiling in my bedroom. I also kept logs and scrapbooks. Many years later, I met some of my heroes at the Marshal Centre in Huntsville. Even got to sit at Von Braun’s desk. A wonderful, magical time. The USA at its best. Terrific doc. Well done 👍🏻

You remark that this was to be the last space flight for the 3 astronauts. In both Deke Slayton's book and Mike Collins book, they recount the same thing. While flying together in the T-38 Deke said to Mike, "Mike when you get back we will put you back in the rotation and send you back as mission commander and you will walk on the moon". Mike said something like, Deke if I get back in one piece I'm done. Mike Collins understood how dangerous it was and did not want to take the risk a second time.

I saw this in my grandparent’s motel room in Cherokee, North Carolina. I was nine years old. My family was on a camping vacation from our home in New York. We left our trailer in the National Park for the night and met our grandparents who’d driven up from their retirement home in Florida. For some reason, I recall we ate at Kentucky Fried Chicken beforehand. Since we rarely ate out, this was a treat! My Dad said I should remember what we saw because it was historic. My younger sister was only three years old and she slept through it.

I was 10 years old when this happened. As we see America slowly slip toward being a "formerly great nation, " I watch these fabulous videos and wistfully recall when we WERE truly great.

This feeling is becoming rarer and rarer. Thank you for these amazing documentaries. You've reignited my pride and belief in humanity. Absolutely incredible!

Three more intelligent men were never together in such a confined space. Buzz is the only one left in July of 2022, fifty three years later.

To say that these Apollo documentaries are both enthralling and exhilarating is an understatement! Thank you for this production.

In 2021 I still feel pride that we have been to the moon. Mankind's greatest achievement to date.
I really need to live long enough to see humans reach Mars.
I think I will.
I'm 47 so reasonably have 30 years?
We can do it by then. I'm sure we can.
Let's go to Mars and do the other things...
Luv and Peace.
