You didn't disappoint, so much passion in your love Christ and why you teach the Word. The points you made loving about loving your brethren is the 2nd greatest commandment .

That battle is a real one. A hard one. And the feeling of escape... This hits home.

Praise Yahweh the one true God. Revealed Triune as Father, Spirit, and Jesus the Son, each member fully God of which there is only one. 3 distinct Persons coexistant, coequal, and coeternal sharing 1 Divine Essence. Jesus lives and is God, Christ, King. Repent of your sin and believe in Him and be saved to eternal life!

Romans 5:5
and hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE OF GOD has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
A christian can't lack love, it's not our own love but the love of God in our hearts. John could say with confidence:
1 John 4:20
20 If someone says, “I love God, ” and yet he hates his brother or sister, he is a LIAR; for the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

and also:
1 John 3:17
17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the LOVE OF GOD be in that person?

Thank you Pastor Guzik, I have a question: In the exact moment when I am tempted and I am resisting for days what is the best way to "lift a shield" and allow the Lord Jesus to fight for me; instead of me fighting myself against the devil knowing that I will be defeated, First I am not more powerful than the devil; Second it is the Lord Jesus’ job to take away the sin, even if I could I will be filled with pride?

I might be misunderstanding about 1 John, I thought we were saved by grace and He grows love in us, and we can't produce it. If I'm struggling to love others and forgive others which you said is a struggle sometimes, that we need Him to do it in us and if it's not looking like what we hoped or would like it to be then we should doubt our salvation? Even if we have believed ourselves to be trusting Christ for salvation? If we believe ourselves to be trusting and think okay I'm really saved by Jesus, I'm trusting Him, but then I die and find out that I was maybe decieved? Or can we hope that if we are struggling that Jesus wouldn't do that and would save us from ourselves? Where is the safe save point line then that we can know? I'm sorry I'm sure it's just me not understanding rightly, I'm just getting confused how this all works together. If I put my trust in Christ for salvation, and trust He will save me and help me in sanctification and help me to love when I cannot produce it myself, and then how should anyone be able to hold on to assurance? It's like I'm always going to doubt whenever I am going through a problem with another believer, maybe I've just decieved myself that I'm saved. It's just very confusing for me and it makes me question if we can trust when it's says if we place your faith in Christ for salvation that we really can believe we have it. Maybe I've totally misunderstood but that's sort of where I am at the moment in my own personal study of 1 John and looking for commentary help specifically on these verses. Its very hard.

As Steven Furtick puts it (although idk if I would quote him on anything else) "Love without truth is a lie, but truth without love is mean."
